Downer Awarded Contract – NBN Rollout Announcement

Downer Awarded Contract to rollout the National Broadband Network in Northern NSW

Downer EDI Limited (Downer) announced today it had been awarded a contract for the rollout of the National Broadband Network (NBN) to homes and businesses in northern New South Wales.

Under the NBN Project, Downer will be responsible for construction of the optical fibre network from the main fibre nodes to the boxes outside the home or business that allows customers to connect to the NBN.

The contract is valued at up to $94 million over two years, with two one-year options to extend the agreement.
